About Forecasting Method Two: Holt's Linear Trend

This method should be used if observed data contain information that allows the anticipation of future upward or downward trend movements but do not exhibit seasonal fluctuations. The algorithm accommodates the changes in both slope and level estimates. As a result a forecast will not be the same for different future periods.
