Mill #124: Mill in Otsego, MI has changed owner from Menasha Packaging Corp. to Otsego Paper(United States Gypsum Co.). The mill is still closed but United States Gypsum Co. has plans for reopening it in 2007.

Mill #161: Mill in Glen Falls, NY from Finch, Pruyn & Co., Inc.: its annual capacity is in fact 250,000 short tons of uncoated free sheet instead of 217,000. The mill is operating.

Mill #172: Mill in Roanoke Rapids, NC has changed owner from International Paper to KapStone Paper and Packaging Corp., a subsidiary of Stone Arcade Acquisition Corp.

Mill #193: Mill in Pryor, OK from Orchids Paper Products Co.: its annual capacity is in fact 35,000 short tons of tissue paper instead of 26,000. The mill is operating.

Mill #259: Mill in Vancouver, WA from Boise Cascade LLC was incorrectly reported as operating. In fact the mill was closed and the land has been sold for real estate development.

Mill #294: Mill in Neenah, WI, from P.H. Glatfelter has closed. Its annual capacity was 125,000 short tons per year of uncoated free sheet.

Mill #299: Mill in De Pere, WI previously named Re-Box Packaging has a new name which is Eco Fibre Inc. The mill was idle but is restarting/has restarted this summer (status: operating).

 

Which data have changed between March 23, 2006 and May 22, 2006:

Mill #149: Mill in Groveton, NH from Groveton Paper Board Inc. is now closed. Mill's annual capacity was 137,000 short tons of corrugating medium.

Mill #151: Mill in Berlin, NH from Fraser Papers Inc. is now closed. Mill's annual capacity was 264,000 short tons of market pulp.

Mill #284: Mill in Park Falls, WI from SMART Papers L.L.C. is now closed. Mill's annual capacity was 140,000 short tons of uncoated free sheet.

Mill #939: Mill in Fort Edward, NY from Irving Tissue Inc. has reduced its annual capacity following the shut down of one paper machine. Mill is still operating but with a capacity of 19,000 short tons of tissue per year (51,000 tons/year previously).

 

Which data have changed between January 20, 2006 and March 23, 2006:

Mill #66: Mill in Augusta, GA was incorrectly listed as belonging to Ponderosa Fibres of America and was listed as operating. It has been acquired by Augusta Tissue, Inc. and the mill is still idle.

Mill #77: Mill in Brownstown, IN from Unicell Paper Mills was incorrectly listed as operating. It hasn't restarted yet and is still idle.

Mill #98: Mill in Old Town, ME from Georgia Pacific (Koch Industries): The entire mill is now closed (the paper mill was already closed). Mill's annual capacity was 200,000 short tons of pulp and 84,000 short tons of tissue instead of the reported 160,000 short tons and 75,000 short tons, respectively.

Mill #593: Mill in Sanford, FL was missing from MillsOnLine and has been added. The owner is Rose's Southeastern Papers and the mill's annual capacity is 25,000 short tons of tissue. The mill is operating.

Mill #883: Mill in Winchester, NH is now closed. Its owner is in fact Paper Service Ltd. instead of the reported American Tissue Corp. from which it was purchased.

 

Which data have changed between November 8, 2005 and January 20, 2006:

Mill #155: Mill in Middle Falls/Greenwich, NY has a new owner which is United Fibers, L.L.C. The previous owner was American Tissue Mills of Greenwich. The mill is still closed.

Mill #937 in Cohoes, NY and mill #968 in Waterford, NY and mill #1003 in Hamilton, OH which were owned by Mohawk Paper Mills, are owned by Mohawk Fine Papers, Inc. following the company's name change.

Mill #1003: Mill in Hamilton, OH, was incorrectly listed as belonging to International Paper. It was acquired in 2005 by Mohawk Fine Papers, Inc.

Mill # 1192: Mill in Appleton, WI from Riverside Paper Corp. was listed as operating but the mill closed in 2005. Its annual production capacity was 77,000 short tons of uncoated free sheet.

Note: Since Koch Industries has decided to keep the Georgia Pacific brand name after acquiring G-P, the mills now owned by Koch Industries will still be listed under the Georgia Pacific name.

 

Which data have changed between September 7, 2005 and November 8, 2005:

Mill #245: Mill in Pasadena, TX from Pasadena Paper Co. is now closed. Its annual capacity was 160,000 short tons of coated free sheet, 79,000 short tons of pulp, and 40,000 short tons of uncoated free sheet.

Mill #1207: Mill in Peshtigo, WI, from Badger Paper Mills, Inc. is now closed. Its annual capacity was 79,000 short tons of uncoated free sheet.

 

Which data have changed between July 6, 2005 and September 7, 2005:

Mill #767: Mill in Lawrence, MA from Merrimac Paper Co. Inc. is now closed. Its annual capacity was 36,000 short tons per year.

Mill #126: Pulp mill in Muskegon, MI, from Sappi Fine Paper is now idle. The paper mill is still operating.

Mill #124: Mill in Otsego, MI from Menasha Packaging Corp. is now closed. Its capacity was in fact 310,000 short tons per year instead of the previously reported 291,000.

Mill #79: Mill in Fort Madison, IA from International Paper Co. is now closed and its capacity was 77,000 short tons per year. Mill owner was incorrectly stated as Box USA; the correct owner (since April 2004) is International Paper Co.

 

Which data have changed between May 22, 2005 and July 6, 2005:

Mill #9: Mill in Demopolis, AL has changed owner from Gulf States Paper Corp. to Rock-Tenn Co. (new owner). The mill's capacity is in fact 327,000 short tons of bleached board per year and 91,000 short tons of pulp per year.

Mill #151: Mill in Berlin, NH from Fraser Papers Inc. has in fact a capacity of 264,000 short tons of pulp per year.
