Biography of Robert A. (Bob) Renner,
Chief Executive Officer, ForestExpress LLC

B

Bob Renner is chief executive officer of ForestExpress, the transaction processing network for the forest products industry. He is responsible for guiding development and delivery of the company's industry specific e-business solutions, along with building critical momentum for e-commerce adoption in the industry. Before being named CEO, Renner held the position of chief technology officer for ForestExpress. He is one of the people responsible for creating the ForestExpress concept, and served as one of six steering committee members who guided its development into an independent business enterprise.

Prior to ForestExpress, Renner served most recently director of electronic commerce for Georgia-Pacific Corp., one of the world's largest forest products companies. Renner also brings extensive information technology experience from several industries to ForestExpress including from his work with the Walt Disney Company, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, and Security Pacific National Bank (now Wells Fargo).

Renner earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Emory University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University (Fullerton), and an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Fullerton College (California).
